How do you get pictures like these? what lense do you use?

this one was easy, I dropped a cherry into seltzer water, specifically this brand and flavor:

I have a Nikon D3000 and used a standard 18-55mm lens. I wanted a close up of all those beads so I just put my camera closer to the glass. If your not happy with the photo and think your object is too far away I would just move the camera closer if that makes sense. When I was done taking the photo I tweaked the colors and made the greenish drink blue.

i wonder if regular sparkling water stuff would work :S
&& is that a good site? i was thinking about trying to use it but i wasnt entirely sure how good they would turn out (:

yeah, regular would work just fine, I just chose a green colored drink because I thought it would look good with red fruit.
